Busy Bee!

I am participating in the sewsara scrap swap!  I am so excited to be in this swap, as it is my first one!
I just got back from my spring break trip to Washington DC, and man, was it fun! Our group went to so many different monuments, memorials, and museums.  I have to jet, but I will be back soon with an update from the sewsara scrap swap package I will be receiving soon!

  2. Hey! Saw your post on Stitched in colour! Gotta agree with the mouth open chewing thing! Knock it off!
As for the fabric stuff, I am a country away from Joanne's and our little town carries almost NO designer stuff well unless you are up to paying 20 bucks a meter! Walmart fabric worked for me until they stopped carrying it! Now I am toast! Fabricland it is! Hope your day is great!

  3. Adele--The swap was amazing! My partner was Rebecca (behind the blog Sew Sane Jane) and she was awesome! I felt bad though, because none of my fabrics were designer like hers, but I think she liked them and I loved the scraps I got, so it was worth it! I don't know if I will ever do swaps that are like, actual handmade things, because I dont feel that I am a talente-enough sewist yet!

Hands Sew Full-thanks for the comment! That thread was great, I read almost every comment!! I didn't realize that we are so lucky here in the US and that other countries's fabric was so expensive!! and so far, WalMart has been fine for me! I've never had a problem yet (knock on wood!)
    thanks for stopping by! :)
